Anyway… When I worked as a personal trainer, I was asked many times in many different ways about losing thigh fat… “How do I lose my thigh fat?” “What’s the best exercise for my thick legs?” “What do I need to eat to lose my jiggly thighs?” “I like my body, but how do I get rid of my thick thighs?” No one ever seemed to like my answer though… I suppose it’s because I always told people the truth, not what they wanted to hear. The truth is this… There is no exercise, no special food, or a special supplement you can take to burn fat from your thighs or any other specific part of your body. Surgery is the only way to do that. That’s real. Now… Here are a couple of facts to wrap your thighs around: Fact #1 A sound fat loss program will burn fat from everywhere. Your genetics will determine the order in which fat is lost from your different body parts. I’ve seen people lose fat from their thighs first when they start a fat loss program; for others their legs are last to go. Hey, we’re all cut different. To repeat what I said earlier: there is no way to lose fat from only your thighs or any other specific body part. Fact #2 There are no thigh slimming exercises, but you can strengthen and harden your thigh muscles by doing certain exercises. Aerobic exercises help strengthen your muscles. Weight training exercises like squats, lunges, deadlifts and leg presses help strengthen, tone and re-shape your thighs. You most likely fit into one of these categories: 1. You are happy or at least ok with your body except your thighs. 2. You’ve lost fat from the rest of your body, but your thighs are being stubborn.
