If you know how to lose body fat, then you also know how to lose back fat.
The reason I say that is because there isn’t a specific exercise or technique that you can use to lose fat from your back or any other specific area.
Surgery is the only way to spot reduce fatty areas.
In a minute I'm going to tell you some things you can do to lose your back fat. First I want to quickly cover a couple of points...
#1 Local fat loss is not possible without surgery.
A fat loss program will have you lose body fat from all over, but your genetics will determine how or where fat is burned from your body.
For example, some people may lose back fat first; for others it could be the very last place fat is burned away.
There’s nothing you can do to overwrite your genetic blueprint.
#2 There are no specific exercises you can do or supplements you can take to lose back fat.
Again, there is no such thing as localized fat loss.
Weight training exercises like rows, pull ups and deadlifts can help shape and tone your back area. They will not burn back fat.
Keep in mind that you need to do exercises for the other parts of your body as well. If you limit your strength training to back exercises, you’ll create a muscular imbalance that can eventually lead to injury.
If you exercise consistently and eat healthy the majority of the time, you’ll burn body fat from everywhere, your back included.
